Free play
Every game is free to play, as much as you like. Nothing is held back for people who pay.
Ranked runs ($OIL)
- A ranked run puts your score on the game's leaderboard. It needs a crypto wallet, and the owner approves every payment in their wallet app.
- The entry price is shown before you pay (25 $OIL). It is spent: there is no refund and no prize. You play for a place on the board.
- Everyone is ranked on the same real score. Wallets that hold a FinnBot also appear on a Bot holders table.
- Scores usually appear within 30 minutes. If one is missing, ask in #support with the transaction link. Blockchain payments cannot be reversed.
- Leaderboards are a fun ranking, not an official competition. Scores that are impossible in the game may be left off.
Prize rounds
Two quick-play games have paid rounds that can win $OIL. Each costs 25 $OIL, and the prize is shown before you play. Pick-a-Bot is a 1-in-10 draw that pays 200 $OIL, or 300 if the wallet holds a FinnBot. Spot-a-FinnBot pays 100–300 $OIL for finding the Bot, or 1.5× that for a FinnBot holder. Prizes arrive with the next $OIL payout. Free rounds have no price and no prize.
Rewards for grown-ups
A grown-up can collect $OIL with their own wallet when a child clears a daily challenge. These rewards are earned, never drawn. The rules are on the parents page.
Playing fair
No bots, scripts or tricks. We may remove scores that use them.
The games as they are
FinnBots is a small project run for fun, not profit. Games may change, have bugs or be retired. $OIL and FinnBots are collectibles, not investments.
